Sassafras Folk String Band performs folk, old-timey, bluegrass and celtic music in a delightful and entertaining way. All five of the members of this all-girl band play multiple instruments including fiddle, banjo, guitar, bass, mandolin, dulcimer, folk fife and bodhran. Known for it's signature tight harmonies and lively instrumentation, Sassafras brings both fun and nostalgia to any gathering. Sassafras has performed all over the western region in many venues including Timpanogas Storytelling Festival, Summerfest, Beehive Jublilee, American West Heritage Center, Ogden Valley Balloon Festival, Red Rock Bluegrass Festival and State and County Fairs.
