Sassafras Folk String Band offers lively instrumentation, tight vocal harmonies and crowd pleasing entertainment. This talented all-girl string band specializes in folk music both old-timey and contemporary, and an exciting mix of Celtic, bluegrass, and blues. Sassafras won first place in the 2008 American West Heritage Center Battle of the Folk Bands and recently produced their fourth recording, “Sassafras Jam”.
